No idle
« on: June 21, 2015, 10:04:10 am »
My chevy k10 wont idle untill i rev it up for like 5 minutes and i have no clue why. Could it be because i took off the charcoal can and didnt plug the lines? Do i need to adjust choke or something? I really need help, thanks. Btw motor is a sbc350 with q jet, 10:1 compression heads cam etc.

if you didnt plug a line it should leave a vacuum leak then if the choke opens up it will be worse if not run at all. but yes plug all lines and see how it runs then

I fixed it, turned out that the throttle screw was set so it fully closed and gave it no gas at idle. Now i just gotta fix a blown head gasket
