Has anybody have or had water leaking into the cab of 1984 Silverado Stepside from the cowl area where the rubber gasket is for the hood hinge? How can I stop the water from leaking there? Thanks, Chuck

Yes its a common problem.  Remove the cowl panel and look for the seam sealer coated seam.  Missing seam sealer and/or rust holes will cause water to leak into the cab.

Do you know if those rubber seals for the hinges available? Thank you, Chuck

It is available--I bought one not too long ago for my truck but forget where I got it.  Try Chris on this site first--he can tell you where to get it if he doesn't carry it.  It won't help your cab leak though.
