Need help

Hi i have a 1976 chevy k20 im trying to plan out my stereo, dont know where to put my speakers there is no brackets for them.. Any ideas?

You should consider putting you speakers in the dash .. 3 inch speakers does a good job .. Many  as 4 speakers will fit up there , 2 on the sides , and 2 in the middle .. It does require Minor  metal fab to make them fit flush .. Good luck

Yah putting some n dash. Kick panel speakers and the floor and maybe a speaker box behind seat

I found a truck in the junkyard that had factory brackets for 4x10 speakers in the corners behind the seats.  I was able to use a grinder to cut out the holes and make 6x9s fit there, they are a little muted by being behind the seat, but i put two 3.5" rounds in the dash and now the setup sounds good.

I have a 78 K20. It does not have holes in the dash for small speakers, instead there is a single (broken) 4x9 speaker in the middle. I used this space to house my amp.

When I got it, there were 4x9 speakers in the rear. I changed these to 6x9 using the excellent brackets from 73-86.com.

I also put 6 inch speakers in the door (the PO had already cut holes).
