Popping out the exhaust or back through the carburetor and air cleaner?  Is it worse if you rap the throttle quickly?  What do you mean by "crackel?"

if you wait till your engine is cold then start it up you can use a laser temperature gun and read each exhaust manifold port and see which port is colder than the others. if you dont have a temp gun you can use your fingers just be careful of moving parts. it will take the engine a little while to get up to too hot to touch but you will need less than 30 seconds to touch each one

Bd- I haven't really looked to see if it's coming from exhaust or Carb yet just started yesterday an the crackeling is just when it's about to shift the popping gets faster which makes it sound like a crackel an Irish_alley thanks for that I can get a hold of a temp gun

Check plugs and wires? Maybe run a cleaner through the carb? Timing set where it should be?

Clean your carb and check filter and make adjustments if needed. Usually a bog is a fuel issue, either not enough or too much. Also make sure your pump is within the pressure range for your carb. I talked to a guy who replaced 4 carbs because they wouldn't work right after he put in a 7-9 psi pump...all 4 carbs stated max pressure was 5-7 psi, but he was told by the parts store that no mechanical pump can exceed 6 psi, after the sold the higher pressure pump to him. Btw, too much pressure guarantees a rich condition and likely flooding.
