Oh by the way, I ordered the lug nuts from Summit Racing this morning. They arrive tomorrow or Wednesday and I might get these new wheels on the truck by friday.

Nice! They look great! Definitely post up some pics when you're done! Those wheels look great on a square! Too bad my truck is a 6 lug and the newer style factory wheels have a much smaller hub opening than what would fit on my truck.

Thanks. Don't worry, I will do some good before & after pics, I'm gonna clean the truck tomorrow anyway. Im pretty sure there is newer stock stuff out there that fits even with a six lug pattern.

Yeah the lug pattern is the same, but I thought the center hub hole got smaller when GM switched to IFS on 4x4's in 1988. I don't think the newer factory take offs will fit over my 4x4 hubs since they're larger in diameter?

Oh I'm not really sure. I know the hubs are still of decent size one trucks with IFS 4x4. Maybe be worth checking into tho.

Ok, as requested, here are the before pics, spend 4 hours today cleaning and making the truck pretty. These are with the current wheels, they were on the truck when I bought and until a few months ago, I liked them and had no reason to change, but I've changed my mind obviously. They won't be on the truck past this Friday tho.

If I could have bet on it, I would have put down a 100 dollars that you were going to be first to reply and that you would be exclaiming "PICTURES!".

I took one pic at work after they were mounted. I plan too take more on Sunday that will be the same stance and background as the before pics. If you really want to see them I can post a teaser or you guys can wait with deep anticipation like a bunch of school children waiting on the lunch bell. Hahaha.

How do you vote AZ87?
