73-87 Chevy Short Bed Camper Shell

Hey guys,

I'm trying to locate a cab-high camper shell for my 74 K10 short box.  Are there any other trucks you know of with the same bed dimensions?  It would sure help if I could open up my search parameters.  Just for info the outer dimensions of my bed are 72" wide by 79.5" long.

from experience, the shortbed 73-87 are all by themselves.

Well, after tons of waiting I finally found one that someone didn't want an arm and a leg for.  Its not a perfect fit but it will serve the purpose.

Thanks!  I would love to have a K5.  Always wanted one.  In a perfect world I'd also have a square Suburban to go along with it. 

The shell was made by Custom Hardtops, which is early Snugtop from what I gather.  The glass is dated from 1972 so I'm assuming the shell was made around the same time.  The truck seems to ride better with the little extra weight.

Thank you gentlemen!  It did take forever to find but I did luck out and get it local.  I was able to get rid of all the leaks and wire up a light inside.  Turned out pretty well, but I've still got to figure out a way to screen the windows.  I recently hung rear view mirrors, got bumper guards and new tires!  About given up trying to find a grill guard.

Those old style grill guards are out there but they are hard to find.
