Mechanical heat riser choke carb

How many diffrent quadrants came with the mechanical heat riser choke set up? Got a 73 k 20 and it has what looks like a smog carb on it.....73.....is that right?

Heat riser is on the exhaust manifold

You are referring to the divorced style choke with the thermostatic coil inside the manifold right?

Oh yep....
Pulling carb off time for rebuild..secondaries wouldn't  open wot.....

Secondaries won't open WOT until the engine needs them. That does not mean they will open just because you floor it. If your engine is worn out they might never open. Does not mean the carb is messing up.
