maybe a ground issue? not sure but grounds can do weird things

My 83 c-10 is doing the same thing. Sometimes when I push in the clutch also.  I changed out the radio and ran a new ground to the dash framework just in case I had a broken ground wire but it's still happening!?!?!?

might be a bad connection at the bulkhead.

Mine did the brake pedal thing for a bit, it ended up being a loose connection where the aftermarket wiring was installed.
It wasn't until I actually took apart the wiring and redid them that I could find the one that was doing it.
Is the entire radio shutting off? On mine, the power wire on the trucks radio plug frayed and had snapped off. I fixed that before having the other wiring issue.

Gently jiggle the harness while the radio is playing to see if you can simulate the symptoms.  Recheck splices and wire connections to the radio and reconcile them against the radio's wiring diagram and instructions.  In addition, the cab maybe grounding through the brake and clutch linkages instead of grounding via the cab-to-engine jumper cable, resulting in intermittent grounding of the cab.  So...

Check the radio ground connection to the cab AND check the ground jumper connections between the cab and back of the right cylinder head.  Make sure that ground connections attach to shiny bare metal and that they are coated with antioxidant to inhibit corrosion.

Similarly, check the ground jumper connections between the cab and back of the right cylinder head.  Make sure that ground connections attach to shiny bare metal and that they are coated with antioxidant to inhibit corrosion.

I have a pioneer stereo in my 77 350, I had a problem with it shorting whenever I'd go over a large bump. Could be a connection problem with yours, sometimes all the wires are just cheaply taped together on these.

Maybe the brake pedal is moving a wire that is not well placed?

Not working as in the blower motor doesn't work?  Check the fuses and make sure the blower motor is properly grounded to the cab, then...

...check the ground jumper connections between the cab and back of the right cylinder head.  Make sure that ground connections attach to shiny bare metal and that they are coated with antioxidant to inhibit corrosion.

Or, not working as in there is only one fan speed?

And then what happens?  If you want help you need to be a little clearer.
