1987 heater metal hose fitting

Hello everybody and thank you for reading this.
My 1987 350 tbi truck is leaking coolant from the metal hose/bend where the hose from the heater connects to the intake. I searched online looking for a replacement and all I can find is pre-cut heater hoses, not the metallic part (where number 41 is in the picture below). The heater hose from the heater to the back of the intake does not connect directly to the fitting on top of the intake. There is about 10" of preformed metal hose. I cannot tell if it is leaking from the rubber hose or from the metal preformed hose. If I need to replace that, will I just have to connect the rubber hose directly yo the fitting on the intake? Or do I need to modify the fitting ? Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks.

I recommend removing it altogether and using a hose nipple with a replacement heater hose. You can buy replacement quick connects at the auto parts store if you chose to retain the factory molded hose.

Thank you for the answer. Is the end threaded like a pipe fitting? I could not reach it very well to understand as it is under wires, hose, spark plugs wires.

aside from what vile said, patience is a virtue on here. we dont have people on call 24/7 or even on call at all. we have a wealth of knowledge on here but we dont have a "set" time to be on. so just relax and you will get your answer sooner or later. i know somethings you just want to know about now and i understand.
but heres the OEM part afaik. i know it says 88-92 but it looks just like the one you show

I got that replacement part for my '91 V3500 from the Chevy dealer. It had to come from VPI, but they still had them.
