help in deciding.
« on: May 27, 2016, 11:56:04 am »
I have an 84 LWB and I cant decide how much I want to lower it. I have been looking at the belltech kits and just cant decide.  If anyone can post photos of 4/6 drops and 3/4 drops and what kits they used so I can see how each one looks that would be great.  Any information on the set up you have would be great as well.  Thanks!

A regular flip will drop the back of the truck 6 to 7 inches causing the need for a notch in the frame so you would have axle clearance. I just got done with my 83 LWB. I did a flip and then raised it 2 inches so I do not need the notch.

Well I want it low, but not to the point where its scraping the ground.  I found a post earlier that has the perfect height I would like.  Not sure if this will work but the link to that thread is http://forum.73-87chevytrucks.com/smforum/index.php?topic=33223.0 That is pretty much what I'm looking for and I'm just curious what he used for that drop.

What drop did you end up going with bud. I have a 79 lwb and I am thinking 2" shackles in rear, and 2" drop spring or cut my stockers for the front.
