Adjust for tb spacer
« on: June 04, 2016, 04:09:48 pm »
1987 1/2 ton
350 with a throttle body spacer.
The throttle cable binds. The plastic permanently on the cable that goes into the sleave portion binds on the sleave portion. Most of the time need to stand on the gas peddle to get it to move and the start.
Is there a throttle Barack I can get to keep the cable truly horizontal with the carb ??

Please point me in the right direction for this.

The best solution is to remove the spacer.

Good insight.

Let's assume for a minute I DO NOT want to remove the spacer.

trim the plastic sleeve or compensate the difference by spacing the bracket.
