74 c10 vent window!

Finally getting around to tackling the dreaded squarebody drivers side vent window. My lower pivot point is sheared off and the stud looks pretty bad, pretty sure the nut isn't coming off. I have been searching and searching not finding any parts for these. Has anyone tried to drill this our and run a bolt through it to make it operational again?


Needing some advise as this is the first squarebody I'm restoring!

You'd be better off finding another used rebuildable unit. The angle needs to be precise for proper fitment and sealing. Your other option is to use 81-87 vent windows which parts are more readily available.

Are they a direct fit replacement ?
