« on: December 06, 2006, 09:29:00 pm »
i'm tired of turning the truck around at the pump to fill the passenger side tank. has anyone made a crossover pipe to fill the passenger side from the drivers side? it's an 86 shortbed stepside.
    thanks,

Haven't tried it but you should be able to modify it with an electric fuel pump

Yes my 74 is this way. The right tank pumps into the left tank with the touch of a button. I fill it up and pump it over. The main reason I like this is I can mix down race fuel since I have such a high compression ratio but you could do this and just simply fill up on one side just watch the gauge so you don't overfill the other tank.

I remember years ago seeing an ad in a magazine for something called a Dual Fill. It ran between the tanks and no matter which side you were filling, it would fill both tanks evenly.
