4l80e for 85 chevy 4x4

 i would like to swap engine 6.0 vortec  and 4l80e to my transfer 208c .i have feel question would ask,what vehicle i am look for 4l80e 4x4 at upull ?to make it work with my 208c.. any parts i need to buy.thanks for help

I think he is asking, which junkyard vehicles have a 6.0 L Vortec/4L80E combo that will directly mate up with an NP-208C, and what other parts will he need to complete the swap?

you need a 208 or 241 that has an electric speed sensor much like what you would find on a 89-91 burb and blazer. but the issue is those should come with 700r4s and they will have 27 splines and that would make the 241 off them 27 splines. so you would have to swap that with a 32 spline 208 input shaft. you will need 32 for the 4l80e. if your trans is the th400 that will be a 32 spline

You will need an adapter for the transfercase.

what year of the truck i am look for adapter to fit 4l80e to 208c?
right now i got adapter 700r4 to 208c.sorry i know ask too much because i am want learn one i got all information i will bring my truck back to life, thanks

cant answer that, i know the th400 is the same pattern as the 4l80e but theres an issue with the shifter. go to advanceadapters.com and see what they have for sale for that setup

you won't find a factory adapter for it.  You have to look at Advanced Adapters.

here i will do,i go to u pull and look for chevy truck  k2500 4x4 if it had 4l80e and 241 transfer case i bring it home together.hope i can find one

prob wont happen. 4l80e came out in 91 only passengers side drop got a 205.

Cap what did the 241 and 4l80 some on? the only thing i knew of was the crew cab and that was a 205
