2 inch wheel spacers
«

I am interested in putting some 2 inch wheel spacers on the back of my 81 K10 to bring the back wheels out and even with the fronts in relation to the fender. Has anyone done this, and if so, do you have any pictures of how it looks?

Yes I usually do this with my K10's or K5's because of the narrow track in the rear. I'll see if I have any pics handy

Perfect thank you very much. That is exactly what I am looking for. I found a ton of pictures that I suspect have spacers in the rear but the description is usually about the tires and lift never the spacers.
Have you ever run into issues with the extra leverage on the axles/bearing etc??
I'm running 15x10 with 33x12.50's so nothing extreme thats for sure, and it is my daily driver that rarely sees any off road.

All I can say is I've been using them for many years without incident. For off road abuse, I probably wouldn't use them. Clean mounting surfaces and even torque with proper fasteners and you won't have any issues. I loved that Blazer, thanks.

ive said before about bearing issues with the spacers. im starting to think that was related to the hub bearing assemblies on the 99+. theyre know to be crappy anyway and the extra leverage might make them fail faster. i cant even rememeber how many ive changed on chevy cars and trucks. think the last time i did one i had the job done in 15 minutes +/-. and i havnt seen any evidence about our trucks and their solid axles

This isn't on a 73-87 but I am running SpiderTrax wheel spacers on all 4 wheels on my 2006 TJ unlimited. And many people wheel them hard like this...
I only use SpiderTrax Spacers...

I've been thinking about this, too. Anyone have a link to any good 2" spacers for my 83 GMC C1500 5x5 lug? Maybe even 3.5" or something for my rear tires? Not sure when I'll get new rims to widen the stance XD
