Pitman Arm Part Number
«
on:

Good evening all,
I am probably the only person I know who is excited about dropping a lifted truck to stock ride height, but here I sit broken hearted....
I have been searching for a definitive part number for a stock pitman arm for my '83 K30 and can't find squat.
Any ideas of a manual I could get, a place I can go or do you even just know the part number?
Thanks

Irish_Alley,
I can't seem to navigate to that manual section, but the link works. It doesn't have the pitman arm on it, but it's good to know we have those assets here. Can you help me get there through our buttons on the web page please?
bd,
Thank you very much!

The number you listed is the steering knuckle arm, not the Pitman arm.

Irish_Alley - By the time I get home at the end of the day I lose my attention span, staring at a computer screen for 9 hours a day makes it easy to relate to that... Sometimes I forget where I put everything.
Thanks for your help, I'm going to drag through that manual for a bit!

Non-wear pitman arms are not typically stocked at auto parts stores. They are readily available through restoration parts catalogs.

I'm not sure where you live, but I'll stick it out there anyway.
I'm in Chilliwack BC, and I've got all the parts you need, to return your truck to stock height, including shackle-mounts, springs, etc.
You can have them for free, I'm just not interested in packaging them up to ship them out. I know it sounds like a small thing to do, but I'm generally pretty handicapped, so when I'm functioning well enough to something like that, I'd rather be wrenching on my own truck.
If you can find someone else that wants to do that for you, that's cool too.
