sleeving 4-bolt main 350

I recently purchased a 3970010 4-bolt main 350 with 87-up centerbolt heads on it and coolant in the oil pan. $50 wasn't bad, but I just finished tearing it completely down just minutes ago. The first 2 cylinders (closest to the front of the engine) have cracks in them. Would it be expensive and time consuming to have a machine shop resleeve the block and bore it .030 over? Just wanted some different opinions from other budget minded truck guys. Thanks!

350 blocks are a dime a dozen. The $ you are going to put into sleeving and machining isn't worth it. You can buy another engine or even a junker with a 350 in it for much cheaper and start again. My experience with problematic engines are just that...They are problematic. Ask yourself what kind of stress this engine went through to become cracked ?
