exterior mirrors on my 84 C10

I'm trying to replace the big bulky exterior mirrors with smaller O.E. mirrors and plates from Eddie Motorsports.  The problem is I can't find any good videos on how to remove the original pieces.  Anyone with a helpful YouTube video you can recommend??

There should be a torx screw at the bottom of that cover at the bottom of the mirror.  Take that out and you can slide that cover up enough to access the 3 bolts holding it on.

Why? I'm assuming you are talking about these? https://www.eddiemotorsports.com/product-p/ms274-50.htm IMO, Those plates look terrible and any factory mirror looks better than an adapter plate with a mirror on it. What mirrors are on it now?
