fuel injection
« on: December 11, 2006, 12:20:00 am »
I picked up a working holley 2 barrel projection kit for $100 from a friend of the family. It was pulled off a running wreck vehicle. my question is does anyone have a wiring diagram from the system i have and the other is there is a black box that i dont know what its for. I looked on holleys website but havent left a email for tech support yet they usually take awhile. Just looking at the harness it looks simple to do but im not for sure because of its alittle older of a system and then the black box.

What's the model #? Can you edit your post so that it's easier to read?

where is the model # located? there are only two numbers on the ecm. The first one is 7296 and the other is b1n.

Add a return(enter) at the end of the image tag.

BTW, I don't know of that Holley part number but they put out a BUNCH of those Pro-Jection units.

Is it a need to have a return line besides a line to return unwanted fuel for this setup?

Why do you have to have a return line besides excess fuel to return to the tank?

EFI

Not all EFI systems have a return line but your TBI is designed to allow regulated pressure to the injectors and any volume and pressure beyond what is needed at the injector is returned to the tank.

You will need a return, 5/16"

Technically you aren supposed to use the vent connection on the carb sending unit for an EFI system because it isn't actually a 5/16" hole at the sending unit.
