battery dying overnight

hey guys. i have a 86 k10 that just recently started giving me some electrical issues. i have an optima redtop and when the truck sits overnight the battery is dead in the morning. i have checked all the fuses and everything for a short. and have found nothing. any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Internal in the altinator? Try discontecting the altinator wires and see if it still does it. I had an altinator do that to me once.

Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs

You have a parasitic draw. Do you have a test light or Digital Meter ?

well i tried the alternator lastnight and i think that was the problem. i just put a new alternator in and well see tommorow if it will still crank.

Well i got the same truck same year same battery...Any ways what my problume was i put a new Cd player in and it would do the same thing...somthing about the Constite 12v source not having a Relay or somthing..so anyways i put a battery cutoff...So all i gotta do it turn a switch thats under my seat...
