TPI L98 350 install
« on: February 23, 2007, 10:42:00 pm »
How hard is it going to be to install a TPI system out of an 88 IROC-z with complete wiring harness (bulkhead to motor and bulkhead to computer), ECM, Hypertech chip, etc. into my old 74 longbed? I am also planning on upgrading to the 700R4 trans.  Am I getting in over my head. I'm fairly sure that with the chip leaving the engine tuning at wide open "no holds barred" that reprogramming won't be necessary. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks!

Just run new fuel lines and retrofit in the correct fuel pump for the iroc in the tank. Aside from that if you have everything else it'll be a nice retrofit. How hard depends on how mechanically inclined you are.
