ENGINE WIRING HARNESS for my 79 C10

HELP! Trying to find a eplacement engine wiring harness for my 79 C10. Originally a 6 cyl. but now has a 350. The last idiot owner completely butchered the harness and I want to replace it completely-not patch it up. Cannot find a source. Chevrolet discontinued it. Painless wants to sell me a whole truck kit etc. Junkyards are out of the question. Email me if you have a solution. Thanks. (hdxcab@yahoo.com)

Just buy a rotted out truck for $50 bucks. I have a harness but it's for a TBI Truck

As Vile said, you only option is to get something from the salvage yard or parts truck, then you have to hope someone else didn't butcher it....

I have the same dilemma on my 83, and I am either going to get a painless kit(139.00 on eBay), or wait for a decent used one to come along (also on ebay).  I'm not paying 300-400 bucks for a "new" one from   truck or somewhere else.
