1979 C20 (350)5.7 TH400 3.73 rear

hello, I'm wanting to know the approx. HP and TQ my truck has now that I have done some modifications.

Edelbrock performer intake
long tube headers with tru dual flowmaster 50 series
Aftermarket air filter and housing
Flexalite fan
Air cond. has been removed
power steering, alternator, water pump and fan are the only access. now

We will not know your HP and Torque....way too many variables. We could sit here bench racing all day throwing out numbers etc.....take it to a chassis dyno for a base line. Do you have DeskTop dyno or another comparable program? These can give you an appoximation better than we. You can also go the track and get your mile an hour and work the equation with your vehicle weight to get HP.

Removing the AC adds no horsepower it just makes the truck uncomfortable on hot summer days.

You can get a better idea if you know your compression ratio, cam profile, etc but the only real method as RSBAD454 said...hit the dyno

Well, a stock 350 for a 79 was about 179 horses.  I have a book on it downstairs...i forget the torque specs.  If I would guess on your mods I'd say you may have added 20 hp, just a guess, on your nearly 30 year old engine, which you didn't list the mileage, I would say you may be close to stock again. Just a guess.
