Keep it two tone green/white!  Everybody (including myself) seems to take two-tone trucks and makes them a single color.  While these trucks look good either way, I truly believe the factory two tones are much netter looking now, and becoming more and more rare on the road these days.

Just my opinion.  :)

And with good reason! The factory 2 tone is UGLY!

Factory two-tone adds class to the truck.  I have one now with no two-tone, no accents, and no trim.   Even for the trail rig that is will be that is too sparse.  The two tone make the trucks look less bulky.  They just look kind of boring with only one color.  At least keep some wheel molding and a side trim from the 84'ish era.

The pendulum swings left, then right, then continues swinging....two tones, one solid color, two tones, etc...

I value each opinion and appreciate the replies.  My head is spinning.

I do like the two tones, if just to keep it the classic look.  However, the white on the roof of the cab--terrible!  The chrome molding separating the colors--nightmare to  work with!!

Decisions, decisions....

to be continued....

Two tone looks good but not the factory layout IMO. Below the trim line solid looks good. My old Blazer was two tone and if I can find pix I'll post them and it looked pretty cool. And the white roof is the ugliest thing ever!

Lose the camper shell and please don't put a visor on it....:(  Other than that, keep it 2 tone or that solid dark green.

I dunno about the camper shell but it would look great the same 2 tone. They have one running around here and its the same color combo and it looks sharp and the color of the interior is grey.

Yeah, that just might be what I will do.  But, it will be next spring before I do the body work/paint.   It is not set in stone yet, I still kind of like the solid dark green.   However, keeping it w/ atleast part of the classic 2 tone scheme would be nice (my wife likes the present scheme, and her opinion is very influential--if you know what i mean.

Again thanks to everyone's input.  I am enjoying reading each entry--so many opinions!

And, as mentioned b4, that aluminum shell is as good as gone!

I say keep the classic look...never see any restored chevy/gmc trucks with the two tone and trim on them. Everyone takes the easy way out and goes one colour and removes all the trim. I find that the two colours and the trim make the truck look more ... can't think of the right word... upscale I guess.
