I think it would be cool if someone would make a kit with a new seal and a solid piece of glass (no hole) to eliminate the vent window from opening. I have never owned one of these trucks without one side or the other (usually both) causing wind noise. I would buy a kit if it were available. I have seen people mount little billet mirrors for motorcycles in the holes where the latch mounts.

I'm sure you could easily have one made. There's a tempered glass right here in town where I work that would make those solid windows or vent windows at probably a fraction of what you'd pay if someone marketed them. Anyway I like the look of the vent windows when they are opening and it's wicked easy to change the seals on these so if yours whistle or hiss you can buy a complete seal kit from Jcwhitney. I would suggest let them sit in the sun for a day or two before you put them on though.

:rollin Hello everyone!! :rollin
I would like to introduce our one piece door window conversion for the 1973-1987 Chevy truck bodies. :eek
The kit consists of everything needed to do the changeover.

I would also like to mention the new winshield upgrade for this type of truck. It will completely eliminate the need of that old cruddy gasket. It is flush mounted design including a black bordered edge on the glass that will hide the glue. Included in the kit is a 1/8" accent trim that will fit between the glass and the cavity of the body.

If you have any questions please feel free to visit our website; www.OnePieceProducts.com

Have a Great Day!!

How about some pix. One picture wouldn't convince me to spend $750 on 2 windows. Does it open all of the way?

^ Really? You get that onepieceproducts kit?  I really like the look of the 1 piece window. I recall on here a few months ago that it seemed to be that nobody offered it and voila! here it is.

85 Chevy Silverado C10 short, wide, yellow, 2wd. Lowered, 60-over 350 with Dart Iron Eagle heads and Comp Cams XE268 cam, TH350 w/ shift kit, 3.40 Gov-lok 12 bolt.

i think he means his 91 as in an OBS, not a blazer or sub. and that's because a few months ago nobody DID offer them!
