Transmission q

When i put my truck in gear it takes a few seconds for it to actually kick into gear... any ... anybody know why?

what is it when does it happen what have you checked so far? Check the fluid level and condition first

it does it all the time.... if i shift it down and then automatically step on the gas it will rev up and then when it kicks in its like neutral drop. the fluids fine and ive changed the modulator valve before . its done this sense i got it used. was wondering why

It's time to take it to the tranny shop Mike. Weak torque converter or worn clutches signal a rebuild is needed.
