djm drop spindle problem!

i just put my drop spindles on and i went to put the calipers back on and thea brake line wont clear the spindle where it has the 90 degree angle... does anyone one know where i can get a brakeline(stainless maybe?) and has anyone else had this problem.... how did you fix it?

Do you mean the brake hose? Can't you just reposition it?

yeah.... and you cant.... at least not on mine, it has a gap that the line sets in so that if you turn it, it wont line up strait when ou tighten the banjo bolt.... i thought about grinding out a new groove?

Can you swap the Left to Right or bend it?

Are you saying the 90 bend is too close to the top of the spindle?
I get my braided lines from Inlinetube.com.  Tell them you need the caliper end to have a tight 90 degree bend.

I went through this. I bent the hard line enough for clearance...bought some earls stainless braided hose, and do not like them. I might try what kaos said, looks like the ticket!

thanks chris that looks perfect! hopefully i can get em to send em 2-day. hey check out my post in the wheels section btw... ned som help decidin on new ones

just ordered em! but the guy kept sayin "ARE you sure you want the tight 90 degree bend"

hmmmm, well I guess it depends on what they consider tight.  Maybe tell them how long of a bend you need...

i emailed the tech with a link to this page so he could see the picture and he was like "yup thats our  tight 90 bend" just cant wait to get these in so i can go get the truck aligned
