c notch question

hey guys,
i'm gonna flip the rear of my 87 lb,if i c notch do ya have to remove the bed?
also to solve the shock issue have any of ya run these shock plates?

I would highly recommend removing the bed.

I use shock extenders for all my flip kits.  What you linked isn't going to help since it won't be low enough in my opinion.

DJM flip kits come with them....

Another option instead of using shock extenders, is to use drop shocks.

but is'nt that plate going on the bottom,once the axel gets fliped?
so the shock would be the same distance as before flip?

The plate will be on the bottom , but it won't be near where the original brackets were, and definitely not in the same orientation.  It is much easier to just get the flip kit with the extenders or drop shocks...

A good flip kit will have shock extenders. I used a Bell Tech flip prior to bagging my truck. It had the extenders and shocks with the kit.
1984 GMC Sierra. Air Bagged but mostly stock.

This is the kit I just got. Installing this weekend.
