Father's Day Gift...

This fathers day, I purchased a 600 CFM Holley 0-1850C from a drag racer for my dad. Put it on at midnite last nite and hand delivered the beast (79 Big Ten) to him earlier this afternoon. Those carbs are fun to tune with incredible results over the quadrajunks. 2 years ago I bought him the big ten for fathers day that year to replace his C20 that was having horrible electrical issues. Any of you guys have an interesting story like that? Just trying to get in the spirit of it all (my baby's not due for 3 more weeks, so I don't get to enjoy it this year).

  I got an edelbrock alum. waterpump for my big block in my truck for fathers day..I keep an excel "wishlist" on the desktop of my computer..I enter the goodies i want from summit,  or wherever,complete with part numbers and prices..come holidays,my wife picks whatever she wants that fits the budget and orders..reckon she's a keeper? ;D

Yes I am lucky to have a woman that likes my trucks. She helped me do lots of stuff on my blue truck. Think I should trust her with the Plasma cutter doing the short bed conversion? LOL
