:o Wow Extremely Envious Right Now! Especially Lovin the Finned Covers!! 8)  Just curious, not going to run an external Oil Cooler or even a dual remote filter setup for Extra Capcity, and to help extending the life of that Mammoth ???

Thanks everyone!

It's not a Jegs timing cover.

I have extra capacity with that oil pan. No remote filter, one good filter is plenty (notice the cheap filter on there now though for break in) and I'm not fond of any external cooler lines that could potentially fail. That's why I hate those mechanical oil pressure gauges too.
For some reason  my pix keep coming out distorted. I'll try to fix...

It's weird it's like the colors get distorted after I post them. Oh well.... I have to plane the intake manifold and then portmatch it to my heads. I have my engine compartment stripped, wheel wells out harness out etc so I can powerwash and repaint. After that it's good to drop back in  ;D ;D ;D

Understandable reasoning there, especially the mechanical oil pressure gauges...

Engine is ready to drop in. The engine compartment is all cleaned up, painted and rewired. Tomorrow I'll hopefully have it sitting in place and start hooking in everything. I'm hoping by the end of the week to be able to turn the key  ;D

Thanks - Believe me I have been working my butt off on this project. Once I get this all done it'll be on to the suspension, fuel cell and then repaint the whole truck (hopefully for the last time)
