A new distributor is on its way from summitracing.I am gonna change it out before i put the cab back on the frame .Hopefully it`ll arrive by friday so i can put it on and put the wires on..I figure 1 more part and this is going to be it for purchases for at least 6 months. But now after the engine is all squared away i can focus on getting the body together..

thanks

What up people,
i got the cab on yesterday, i buffed out the back so i didnt go thru hitting the frame with the buffer by the lower part of the back. But i also started putting the serpantine setup on as well.I need to get a new power steering pump cause the knuckleheads sent me 1 for a keyway n i got a pressed on power steering .So instead of ordering a pressed on i`ll find a keyway aftermarket pump as well as a polished alternator..But its comming along.I gotta have the fuel cells mounting tabs removed cause there for a bottom bolt setup as i want them to be on top so i can run 2 1/4 inch steel strips and have rubber mounts between them for vibration  purposes. But my father and I are going to cut down the bedsides from the wooden rack next weekend and assemble the bed box so i can buff out the tops and the fenders and hopefully assemble it.. Does anyone know of any wood companies that sells the wooden floors at a reasonable price??? I dont want oak or pine cause we had oak and it didnt last .Here are a couple more pics of the truck with the cab and the engine dressed up some. I know you see a hint of blue on the frame it comes off very easily so i may take it out 1 day and soap and water it off ..

thanks
pat

Thanks guys for the great feedback.
I did some touch up paint work this past sunday as well.I got the fender jambs reshot and a portion of the dash and the very bottom of the Stone guard shield as you`ll never see it but i know its there..I also replaced the 2 lug nut studs on that 1 rotor that were bad and i had a spare lug nut from a old set.It didn't look right so i`m gonna buy a whole set just for 1 lug nut lol.... But It is comming along great i`m hoping next year to just focus on putting it together as i want to repaint my 2001 dodge ram and keep alot of spending costs down next year(yeah right i say that alot). But hopefully some pics i take of it next are of the cab all buffed out and the bed all done and buffed and assembled and the fuel cell done and plumbed up with the brake lines...

thanks
