eastwood company carries goodmark products and some of their prices is the same as goodmark direct.I am looking for better quality then the repo tin junk.If your parts are what they are chris i can do that instead when i get the loot.Which hopefully will be within this month after i pay for the a/c repair bill.
thanks

I carry Goodmark products. If you look in my catalog the part numbers that start with 41XX-XXX-XXX ARE GoodMark part numbers. If they have it, I can get it. Keep in mind that Goodmark is a reseller, 90% of their stuff is just like everyone elses stuff. Their 73-80 Fenders are an improvement over the norm though, the 81-87 ones are NOT improved, they are Tri-Plus pieces though, and they mark them up. Those fenders aren't near what Goodmark direct is, they ARE making money off of them, a lot, especially since I am cheaper and I am still making a little money on them.

chris,
you ship your fenders by truck freight correctHave you considere shipping them like greyhound?I heard there alot cheaper to ship then truck freight and truck freight are very vicious in handling the packages i`ll say.
thanks

I haven't check with Greyhound, but I don't think they would be able to ship a hood, 2 fenders and a door for $150.
Everyone that I have shipped truck via Goodmark hasn't came back, including the ones I have gotten. Thing is you inspect them BEFORE signing for them, if they are mangled, refuse shippment and they have to eat it. I don't think Greyhound can do that...

Well not really much to report.I welded up some of the seam area on the firewall,i had to cut out a setion of the firewall since it came out horrible the 1st time.I am right now getting a metal dash from a 76 from a fellow member here.I am also going to be purchasing some fenders, a pass door, the lower grille panel and the upper grille panel from chris perhaps tomorrow.I also purchased a new bumper and purchased some other odds and ends.As of tomorrow i am gonna have all the parts needed to finish the body of thetruck.Your correct the cab was a 85 cab but i am converting it to a 73-80 with the dash part, i took out the corner pockets that were for the hinges and welded up all the holes that held the cowl panel in place.The floors were solid and the rockers were soldi as well so i couldnt pass it up.I only had to replace lower portions of the cab corners and a few rust holes but thats really the progress currently.I am headed to maryland in may so i am so looking forward to my trip to ocean city for a car cruise for 4 days with some great friends.
thanks
pat
UPDATE:::::
i just bought 2 fenders and a pass door skin from chris, so this will be it for parts shopping, i am gonna take a break on parts hunting for now till after i get the dash from a fellow member here n the parts from chris, need to give the wallet a break.
thanks
pat

As i was finishing the front brakes on my cougar tonight i figured i`ll hang the core suppot and the front fenders,the fenders will need a lil tweaking as i been doing that to them both tonight.I took off the pass door so i can do some filing on the holes for the bolts so i can shift the door back about a 1/4 of a inch.Here are some pics of the front fenders hung and the core support on.Itr is just temporary for now as i still got alot of work to do to the firewall and cowl.I may hang my goodmark hood on as well this weekend to get a idea on the look its gonna produce.
thanks
