Another project
« on: September 18, 2007, 08:18:21 am »
This ones not a Chevy either, but in its defense it has all Chevy drivetrain. 87 350 with Edelbrock performer, edlbrock off road 650 carb, SM456, be cool aluminum radiator, 4:10 1/2 ton axles, locker in the front, and Lincoln locked rear. 8" Chevy leaves in front, 8" Ford Ranger front coils, hand built 4 link in the rear. He works for my buddy that owns the truck shop I do allot of work for. 19 years old and he is building stuff like this! I painted it for him over the weekend. Oh yeah and a little Mopar Sassy Grass green for good measure

He didn't post anything, he can use a computer but is not at one every day like some of us. We are going to a party / mud bog / hill climb / rock crawl Sat. I will post some pics of it performing.

Didn't get any pics of him at the party. But took some this past week screwing around behind the shop, & in the parking lot.
Little flex testing!

Hey that looks like the same green I had in mind. What's the paint code?

Its dare I say, a Mopar color. Its 1970 Sassy Grass Green, I don't recall the paint code, but any good paint counter can mix it for you. The 71 color was not as bright. I want to paint my next Blazer this color.

He tried to drag my Blazer out of the mud but couldn't so I told him he couldn't put my name on a two hook unless he got me out.
