Took the carb off the truck today, gonna take it to work tomorrow and get a rebuild kit for it.Had some help taking the carb off, it was alot easier for my son to get in the engine compartment than it was for me to lean over the core support A little bit after that, he was bored, so he played with my pen magnet by picking up all my tools that i had out

I would set the timing to about 8 degrees, set the mixture screws 2 turns out and put a vacuum gauge on it and adjust it for the highest vacuum reading. Adjusting timing and idle speed accordingly. It should idle around 750rpms
