I wonder if it actually is 28000 original because of the 5 digit speedo. Also makes me wonder because of the front plates that say fire dept.

It is from NY---where snow is everywhere during the winter months. A 4x4 sure does work great in the snow.   I would like to see a shot of the undercarriage--no sign of rust, really surprised.

The guy's dreaming or waiting for a super sucker. The lense is cracked on the cluster and wear on the door handle trim looks interesting. I wouldn't trust anyone that puts No Reserve when obviously that's not the case.

Okay here is a question. Whats a new Blazer worth? I havnt priced them so I dont know. Plus im in Canada where new trucks cost way more than they do in the States.
But like I would much rather have a low mileage 73 to 87 than a new low mileage chevy truck. Plus I know new low miliage chevy trucks sell for $30,000 plus around here.
In my 81 GMC one ton 4x4 build I have over $20,000 into it and im not done yet. New 1 ton GMC 4x4s start at around $65,000 in my area so as far as im concerned Im still winning.{laughing}
Plus in all honesty I just dont like the new trucks. As far as im concerned I have a way better truck even if the book value of my truck is probable $500 or something silly.

Well there's nothing about that Blazer that makes it worth $24k even if it only had 3,000 miles on it. I bought my 88 K5 from the original owner with 89K on it. I went through it 100% -rebuilt the engine & transmission. New paint, tires & wheels, stereo system hard and soft top and sold it for $8,000. Totally fair price. I could have waited and gotten $10k but I needed money for my garages foundation. That guy is just whacked asking $24k for an old stock blazer. I would never believe his mileage either...

Chevy dealer 30 miles south of me sells brand new 0 miles 1/2t 2wd base model trucks for what he's asking for a clean, but not 100% mint k5 blazer..I'd rather have the blazer, but no way would I pay 24k for it even if I had a giant money tree in my back yard.

Well I guess im a sucker then. In my area I have no idea where you could buy a mint Blazer. Not many of the old style trucks around. But I would rather have the old Blazer than a new egg shaped suburban. We are getting close to buying a new Jeep Wrangler for my wife. Thats going to cost $35,000. I would much rather have a mint old Blazer.
PS I priced Jeeps in Great Falls MT and they cost basically the same thing down there as they do up here.
Honestly though with gas costing over $4 a gallon that old Blazer would be to expensive as a daily driver regardless of what you could buy it for. I wish things would just go back to the way they used to be{think 50years ago}
