Took it apart, and very carfully put it back together.  Took me a couple hours.  It was the first Time I had done it.  Next time should take me 20 minutes.

Looking Good so far, I would like to do something similar to my '77 K25 in the future :)  I see I'm not the only one that is a T-type Lesabre(& Electra) fan, with Spare parts ;D My '87 has been long since trashed and wrecked (Ex's are great aren't they ::)), but I still got the parts stashed for when I get another :D

Check out Lesabret.com some time.
Yeah I try to check that out from time to time, to scope out the pics ;D  I miss my car like crazy, but my girlfriend says it's more of a Grampy/Granny Car than my '96 Caprice ???  The Punk that had it before me, had it painted Dodge Blue, with dark limo tint windows, and had a JetSki tow hitch installed on the rear..  I got it after he had it repo'd, so ofcourse he had blown all of the brake seals, and Kicked in the dash, before the lot took it back..... >:(

Here is a picture of my Black 89 lesabre T-type.
Wow Very Clean T you got there, those Olds rims go with that body style nicely 8) Have you ever thought about dropping it a little???  When I got mine, it had 17" Modern 5 spoke directionals wrapped in low profile tires, the coils had been cut(Struts were worn too, but not bad)and it handled fairly well..  I wasn't able to keep the rims, as one was bent beyond repair, and they were a couple of years out of being discontinued...  Wound up temperarily mounting the Factory Steels and Newer Tires(Factory size) I had left from my totaled Park Avenue, but oddly enough they improved the ride, to where it felt like it was riding on rails :D  That thing could corner like nobodies business, and always kept the Local Wanna-Be Tuners at bay (my high miled Park would do the same, before it was wrecked) ;D 8)

Edited To help take away some of the distraction! Sorry Capt, just Kool to meet another Wrong Wheel Tri-Shield Fan that also likes the same style trucks ;D

As of 6:25pm Friday the 25th of January, I have a Running Moving 79 C-10 with a 5.3/4L60E in it. The camara was running, just need to get time to upload it. It sounded a little rough, as expected. I plan to get it out in the drive way today and let it sit and run for a while. So far so Good. Has great oil pressure too!

Cool.  Glad you got it running man.  Do you need a crank relearn now?  I remember when I swapped my tuned ECM in my [2000] Sierra, I went to get a relearn.  It was crazy, because the lady at the parts desk called security to kick me out because she said there was no such thing as a crank relearn and she was tired of me asking for one(that was my third time that day).  One of the guys that was coming to kick me out knew what I was talking about, so he got it done for me for free. I didn't have any problems with it before the relearn, but I just did it to be safe.

I got some down pipes from a C2500 2001 6.0L truck.  They are 3", I cut and welded all the bends together to make a pair of pipes.  I welded the down pipes to a pair of 3" 4ft long tubes from Summit for $13 a pop.  Then stabbed a pair of Thrush 2 chambered mufflers on the back, they where $29 a pop.  I have a whole $90 in my exhaust at this point.

I plan to do some down turns, but will finish up my exhaust with a pair of Flowmaster manderal bent pipes 2.5" and an H pipe.

But it sounds pretty tough now, may leave it for a bit!
