I just hate taking my truck to anybody , I don't trust them. Mine just spent 17 months in a body shop for no reason there was no rust or damage I put 2 brand new GM fenders (no repair there) and a steel cowl hood. I couldn't get that slow __. Never mind I'll be nice I'am over it thats why I told my wife I'll do my sons myself heck after waiting that long I can do that good besides someone told me that there wasn't nothing I could put on that sandpaper won't take off. Oh and we don't even want to talk about how much I spent on my 17 month storage. Lesson learned, big time.

Finding a good body shop is like finding a good mechanic... Few and far between

And to find a good body man to take pride in what he does is also few and far between.I realized that when i had a friend do my 01 ram and used nothing but junk material and everything shrunk and sand scratch swell marks.I would've done alot better job if i had a place to do it and i payed good money and told him to take his time cause am picky and he still screwed it up so i don't talk to him anymore after that.

thanks

Theres one body shop I fully trust to do a good job locally, and by all rights the price is fair..I'd just prefer to learn to do the work myself. I had them change the drivers front window regulator on my Maxima before I learned how to do it myself in mid January 2002. He quoted me $100, the part ended up costing him $90 and took one of his guys 2 hours to install, but he still only charged me $100.
