ever since i blew the rear a few weeks ago (broke 2 spider gears, chipped the pinion), my torque convertor clutch wont go into lockup. any idea why?

I assume u made sure the connector on the side of the trans is plugged in right?

yeah i did all the basic stuff. fixed it on the way to work yesterday while driving; the cruise control release switch next to the brake switch had become adjusted in too far and wasnt making contact. i pushed it in with my finger ( my dash has been completely apart for a while so it was easy to get to) and it went right into lockup. thanks for the help man

i'm gonna have to check that...i thought my TCC wasn't locking up because i'm missing OD but then i remembered times i had intentionally ran the truck in D before my OD went out and it DID go into lockup mode...gonna have to check it out...
