Was going blind
« on: January 06, 2008, 10:38:44 am »
I haven't been on lately because the veins in my good eye started to leak. It was like I was walking around in a fog and I couldn't read.  I went to see if there was anything that they can do, I visited a Dr. Cox in Elkins WV. and he said that there was a new thing they have been doing, He was on the phone to a guy in Morgantown WV at Ruby Hos.That was Fri. and I was to see Dr.Wang that Mon. they were closed for meetings, Dr.Cox said show up there Mon. Dr. Wang will see ya. He called it a hot poker in the eye, he was kidding. They gave me a shot in the eye and three days later I was starting to see better. And Now is just about back to normal.
See there is a parisite in the ohio river valley that you get from eating the food grown around here. If your imune system gets low and the way this thing shows up is in your eyes. So I eurge everyone that lives around the ohio river to have your eyes checked offen and get a grid to look at everyday, if you see a distortion in the grid get to the Dr.
My bad eye was like the good eye, leaking blood, well the blood scared the eye and there is no help for it, so I only have the one eye now.
Before I seen the Dr. I was pretty low and thinking I might have to sell all my chevys ,tools and parts, And thinking that I can't ever drive again.  That was a bad feeling I hope none of you ever have to experience.

God Bless
Steve

Wow, that's rough man. I'm glad you can see out of the on eye though. It's the simple things we take for granted like our site and our health. Hoping for good health for ya  :)

Glad your doing better, kinda puts things in perspective. Come on down South and get away from whatever is causing the problem.
