i know man...i can't stand trucks that look like they raided the Lund catalog.  the guy who bought my '78 K20 that was lifted (the red one with flames) put a freakin moon visor on it.  i haven't wanted to cry so bad in quite some time.

I'am sorry I think the lund version flows good with the body lines but you can keep the racer back things.

Same here, I just think they take away from the truck's curves...It's like covering up a hot babe in a burqa  :D

he said he's gonna take the visor off.  he put rally's on it since then and is planning on buying some 36 in super swampers.  i'm gonna keep mine mostly original...except im probably putting a roll pan in place of the bumper i took off.  i need a few things if you happen to have them. 78 headlight rings, center caps for my rallys, bed marker lights with the stainless trim(or the front ones and i can take the trim off)the stainless light trim that go under the headlights, chrome front bumper and sporty mirrors( like on my brothers)

I have a nice chrome front bumper, it has a few light scratches here and there but I'll take $50 bucks for it.

i did quite a bit of work to my truck last year.  I talked the guy down to $550 and drove it home(with a little bit of a fuel filter problem) I put a new radiator support in it, did some body work, painted the frame from the cab back, and quite a bit of work on the bed(think i'm gonna go with composite for the floor). I have a bunch of parts to put on when the weather cooperates a little more. I have new doors to put on, new inner fenders, tinted windshield, and tinted rear slider. I want to keep it close to the original green and i think im going to go with white bumper and white mirrors.  Any suggestions are welcome.
It was pretty sunny today.  Anyone ever fix rot like in the 5th pic?
