I have seen them on our style trucks.  There are quite a few on E-bay and they list them as they do fit.  Lugs that hold the caps are metric and the lug nuts are $2 a piece.

I wasn't sure, I haven't ever seen a set on a early truck. I don't have the center caps so the lugs are still a question. Anybody running this type of wheel?

I have seen these on several squarebodies. The thing I don't know is the lug nuts. I know the new halftons use metric nuts, but I was told the newer 3/4 tons dont. so its just a matter of swapping over. Haven't proved this, but I know you need the factory nuts to hold the  centercaps on. best advice is go see your tire man and compare lugnuts. The new wheels look like they were made for these trucks, and I have seen them on a 53that looked good as well

I tried them on the truck last night and they look funny on the front of the truck ( backspacing?),  The rear looks OK, but the front track is somewhat narrower. Don't know If I like it yet?

did you have the aluminum wheels or steel wheels?  here's what the steels off a 2001 model look like on a 78...
