Anyone notice this?
« on: January 27, 2008, 10:28:33 pm »
Anyone else notice that the word "stuff" is replacing random words? I know I typed "don't" in one post, and when I looked at it, it said stuff..After editing and replacing "stuff" with "don't" again, it stayed "don't".. I've seen the word "stuff" in places it stuff belong in a lot of other posts too..

It did it in this post too. Right before belong should be "doesn't"   :o  ???

81Cheyenne posted in the Engine section "stuff" is used in place of sho t, it would appear. Makes for fun trying to figure out what the puzzle is sometimes. I fooled with it some, If I wrote "shoot" would say "stuff" when I checked in Preview, so I trying writing the word "shoot" & it came up... you get the picture.  Lorne

It wasn't random works, it was anything that started with sh and ended with t.  There was a wildcard in the censor.
As for post disappearing, which ones.  I removed some the other day...

Hey Chris, That wasn't the word I wrote! It started with sh & ended with t alright, but it wasn't shoot.  HA! Ha!  Lorne

Yeah, I know, and that type of language isn't allowed on the forum.  It would make my life MUCH easier if everyone stuck to the agreement that they accepted when they joined and just didn't use those words.

I appreciate the censorship. I found another forum and once I found out they did not have the same policy, I bailed. I am into cars family and friends Thanks again Captkaos
