Found and purchased info on the Sport and Desert Fox this weekend, along with the Sun Tiger conversion.  Thought you folks would enjoy.  Check them out and let me know what you think.

My old neighbor had the exact same dsert fox except it had smoke stacks behind the cab. It looked EXACTLY like that. What's up with that sun tiger? I've never seen that before!!! Very cool.

Lol...I cant believe the cheesy outfits pepole wore in the 70's..Whats next...Some one is going to tell me Shag carpet and a disco ball was also a factory option  :D

As for the 70's Clothes, speaking as someone who had to wear them growing up, yeah some were really tacky, while others were pretty Groovy Baby Sad thing is that alot of the Corny Stuff is popular again :-X  Still trying to figure out when the Farrah and Shag Cut became popular again ??? heck you only have to look at some of the Younger Males(20's/Teens/Tweens/Younger) today, to know what I'm talking about!!!  No the Eighties and Nineties weren't all that great, but just cause of Possible Gas Shortages with Rate Hikes, doesn't mean that Younger males should know how to use a Curling Iron/etc :o

i have an original paint/stripes orange 76 sport as pictured ....anyone have or know of a desert fox .....there was a sun tiger on e bay last year also

My hair is curly enough, I don't need no stinking perm. I blow dry mine to straiten it enough to make it presentable.
 I have never even seen pics before now of the Sun Tiger, I have seen a few Desert Fox trucks.Years ago when I was in Arizona to visit my uncle I saw a Chevy Van that had similar stripes to the Desert fox truck, and it had Desert Fox lettered on the rear door? It had a push bar, spoke wheels, off road tires, etc. Anyone else seen one of these? I have done some paint work repair stuff on two sports.
 I know a guy that has a sport. his old man owns a body shop, a guy brought it there to get painted then never came up with any money, and never came to get it. Sat there for about 10 years. It was brown, orange, step side had all the original rims, roll bar, push bar etc. They put an 88 and up bed on it, ditched the push bar, put stock rims with hub caps on it, and painted it solid jade green. They wrecked the truck in my opinion!
