If you really like teaching and you don't want to do whatever is associated with the promotion, don't do it.  Especially if you enjoy what you are doing...  Money cannot replace happiness.

^ And if it also takes away time from what you love doing (working on your trucks) then it may not be worth it either. More money to buy more trucks and stuff like that isn't any fun if the time isn't there to work on them!

Well I took the promotion. I don't actually start in the new position for 2 more weeks but I think I made the right choice.

Congrats on the promotion, Vile. Even if you aren't teaching anymore, it would be a shame to keep that wisdom and experience to yourself. Best of luck!

I should have some pix later today. I'm taking my bike out so I'm just hoping not to get caught in the rain!

wow nice work, shaved stake pockets holes, love it, smooth tailgate and pan love em, louvered, love those too, caddys' ahhh, chrome MC and booster, love it. Smooth firewall, awesome work, love that, smooth frame is great too, love the door panels in it too. What's the plan on the door panels they staying as is or changing? also what about the nicely detailed big block? Any changes?

Since we got blasted with a heat wave here and I started my new position at work the only thing I've done in the last two weeks is a little bit of welding. I'm trying to get the stuff done I have lingering at the shop at work caught up first. As much as I want to get this thing done it's moving VERY slowly right now. As soon as I have any worthwhile updates I'll post more. Glad you like it.

Got my lower control arms back from the powder coater and they finally got the color match right. I pressed in the new bushings and will put in the ball joints tomorrow. I'll post some pix as well but they look sweet
