I needed them but they're coming off even though they don't even have 60 miles on them... Too bad because I just bought them. Notice the bondo dust EVERYWHERE! Even with the exhaust fan on I have to blow my shop out daily. Hate that

I have to clean up a few more small spots and I will be applying the sound deadener to the underside of the cab tonight so this weekend I will be able to upright the cab and get it out of my way. Then onto the rear suspension and finishing up the rear disc brake conversion. Once I have everything mocked up and in place I can finish the rest of the frame and start putting the chassis back together. I'll post pics later

No Kit, custom.... I drilled the rotors to 5x5 for mock up

This stuff is pretty nice. This morning I went out in my garage and it was nice and dry looking good. I'm going to do the inside of the firewall and floor with it as well. I bought two containers of it. There's another product called lizardskin which is the same thing but more expensive. I also have dynamat going down as well once this is dry.

The truck has been in New England since the late 80's I believe. The original owner was from Arizona, then it made it's way to CT where some kid I went to high school with's father owned it. He sold it to another guy and then I bought it. I've owned it since I was about 18 and I never drove it in the winter. I spent a lot of time making it look better than OEM and wanted someone to be able to look underneath it with a mirror and see nicey nice. I was going to paint the underside but then I have to worry about chips and eventually it will look like turd where this stuff is like a truck bedliner. It looks good, it's durable and has sound deadening qualities. I need to get a few guys over to help me lift the cab off of the frame and move my bed...

looks good man,looks real good  :o .Question, you plan on getting the frame into a rolling chassis once powdercoated to set the cab back on? This is 1 truck i think that will be a cut above the rest....

Thanks Pat. Yeah I need to move the cab off of the frame to finish setting up the rear suspension and brakes. Then after it's coated I'm going to put the chassis and drivetrain back together. From there I'll get the cab back on and start reassembly. The final paint will be done in my buddies booth. I've still got a long way to go but with work and all the other projects I have going...... it's tough!

Oh i can imagine , with the other projects and the workload you must got going on ,finding the time must be intense there.But in due time your collection of square bodies will be a collection people will dream of having.Heck i know i`m 1 of them lol... But its looking great vile truck has come a long way since the rebuild of the motor and shortening of the frame...
