Vile, I've been in love with this truck since before you started the tear down. I can't wait to see it back on the road!

I finished helping my buddy with his heater today and then he helped me finish bleeding the brakes. Onto the steering column rebuild.

So I made some good progress this week. I made the gas pedal bracket and got that installed. Then I made a throttle cable and got everything working good. After I did a bunch of other odds and ends including finishing up the steering column I started on the wiring harness. The location of the fuse block has been playing in my head for a while now so today I decided to pull the trigger. I made a bracket out of some stainless I had laying around and it fit's nicely.
Here's what I started with
and here's how it ended up

Nice work Vile.
How did you cut it?

I had to use the die grinder sice it was too thick for shears and my plasma cutter is on the way to it's grave.

It didn't look like you used a plasma cutter that's why I asked. I used some stainless flat sheet stock like that before and was wishing I had a plasma cutter.
Superb craftsmanship doing that by hand.

So I finished installing the fatmat, installed the fuse panel & bulkhead assembly, wired up the Dakota Gauges that I've had sitting in the box since 2006? lol I wish I waited now because I like the VHX gauges better but these are still cool. I think I'm going to build a front roll pan for this truck as well.

That blue is going to look killer with your black interior.
