Cruise Control in a 77 C-20?
« on: September 06, 2002, 11:23:00 am »
Who would've thought that my 1977 Chevy C-20 would have cruise control in it?  I recently installed cruise.  I was driving a 96 Lumina and just fell in love with that cruise control!  So I took a look at the gas pedal and took some time to think about it.  Then I went to NAPA and bought a locking choke cable.  I installed it in the dash and ran the cable to the gas pedal.  When I step on the gas and pull the lever, it stays.  Pretty Cool HUH!

Uh......I don't think that's such a good idea.  Real cruise kicks off when you step on the brake for a reason!?!?!
