New to site, not to chevy's
« on: March 19, 2008, 06:23:43 am »
Looked around while waiting to be activated, great site!

I have been looking for a good site dedicated to our model trucks and it seems they are few and far between. Look forward to being a member here.

81 Scottsdale project truck AKA "BIG UGLY"

400/th350 (soon to be 4 spd)

.030 over/KB flat tops
edelbrock performer intake/thunder AVS series carb
rusty headers for now
ARP through out engine
Rattler damper
Full accel ignition

Shift kit and a half busted tranny (truck had 200K on odo before cable broke and original tranny..so I'm pleased)

Crappy interior (looking for new stuff now)
Gathering parts for 4spd swap
Dash and panels being prepped to be wrapped in vinyl
All Autometer guages on diamond plate panel (will be built soon)

Saggy 4" lift (soon to be replaced with 6" spring lift)

35x12.50 Goodyear MTR's (paid waaaaay too much...lol) 15x10 Baja's

It's an ongoing project when I have time, I have owned the truck for 13 years and have put it through heck and back. Now it's time the ol' girl had a rest and enjoys her retirement.

Welcome form the north country, New Hampshire.
Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs

Thanks for the compliments!

From Western KY here, yeah she has seen her share of gumbo holes and snow in the last 13 years.
