I'm getting new gauges!!! But I need some help first....
« on: March 22, 2008, 01:49:02 pm »
Okay, I'm gonna get new gauges, got them priced out with tax and everything, only one thing, I don't know what gas gauge I need cause I don't know what the empty/full ohms on my sending unit is? The one that they have for the GM's is 0/90, but I'm not sure if that is what I have, does anyone know what a 1985 K10's sending unit ohms are? Thanks for any help.

GM wouldn't try to be tricky and stick a different one in my truck right? I mean GM only made the 0-90 Ohm sending unit, they didn't have some other weird kind right?

I'm getting the equus gauges from O'reilly's. For the Voltmeter, Oil Press, Water Temp, Fuel level, Speedo, and tach the final price with tax is $239.00 So that's pretty good and I like the look, they have a black face with withe letters and a white pointer...let me see if I can get some pictures.......
