Is there a way to get new springs for my 77 3/4 it has 9 leafs and i want 1/2 springs so it will ride smoother?

The small amount of difference using 1/2 ton springs wont be that noticeable. You can buy brand new springs at any spring shop. They might be able to set you up with a lower spring rate steel so as not to mess with your ride hight buy using lighter duty springs or removing leaves.
